In a scene right out of a high drama movie the rescue of a high profile Afghan National Police officer took place in darkness.  Mohammad Khalid Wardak, who worked with the US for years was secreted out of the country before the Taliban could track him down.

Help for Afghan refugees.  President Biden has taken the move to request billions from congress in order to help those who fled Afghanistan.  The latest number is $24 billion.
