As Wall Street’s new top cop, Gary Gensler refers to one of his grandfather’s favorite sayings.  His grandfather would say, “Figure don’t lie, but liars can figure.”  Gensler has pointed out how lockdowns and the pandemic created an ideal situation for those who normally don’t actively trade to take up the ‘hobby’ while stuck at home.  He worries about this and other issues he intends to address.

In the past Florida has always been a critical swing state for elections.  Presidential elections have sometimes been decided by the sunshine state.  However, 2022 may show that Florida has moved decidedly to the right and is now a ‘Red’ state.  Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis has been one of Biden’s toughest critics and its caused many to flock to DeSantis’ side.  Democrat strategy also points to the party focusing on other races in other state and possible conceding Florida before elections even arrive.
