According to the Capitol Police Chief There is an Increase in Substantial Threats

With the democrats in congress doing a fair bit of infighting between the progressives and the moderates over the spending bill, President Biden called for a meeting with the lawmakers.  Most want the bill trimmed but the progressives want additional items in the spending bill and are holding strong.

Front line healthcare workers were the heroes of the pandemic last year.  Now these same workers are being subjected to violent threats.  Some say they are too scared to shop in their hospital scrubs after work and change before heading to the grocery.
