Ethiopian Prime Minister Goes All In On War

Over a month ago an armed group kidnapped 17 US based missionaries.  Two of those 17 were just released and are reported to be in “good spirits.”  Since this is an ongoing crisis with many factors at play no names or detailed information could be given.  The remaining hostages include an 8-month old infant.

The Biden administration has recently announced that the 79 year old president is intent on running for reelection in 2024.  Many are shaking their heads, including a very large number of democrats and other Biden supporters.  Many see his party fracturing more and more on a weekly if not daily basis and don’t see a reelection campaign as the right move.
